Cheap CCTV using your computer.

We are currently developing a cheap, self install, PC based CCTV system, aimed at people who want to keep an eye on things, while they are out, or over night.

The system is designed as a full CCTV system, with motion detection, time-lapse recording etc.

Key Features of the system:

• It will be self install (but we can install it for you, cost below)
• It will have the ability to back up images / video to a remote server.
• It will be in full colour.
• You will be able to remotely control the CCTV computer from your main workstation.
• Up to 4 cameras (to start with)
• Choice of capturing stills and/or video.

We are currently testing version 1 of our design, and if successful, you'll be able to purchase a similar system from us.

Cost, well I'm looking at around £2500 for the basic system with 4 cameras. This includes capture cards, cameras, leads, PSU, and Software.
